Edit a PDF Online Free โ Reorder Pages and Add Text Without Adobe
Reorder pages by drag-and-drop, delete pages, and add text annotations anywhere on any page. A free browser-based PDF editor that replaces the basics of Acrobat.
Adobe Acrobat costs โน1,500โ3,000 per month. Most people need it for two things: reordering pages and adding text annotations. You can do both for free in your browser โ no download, no account, no subscription.
What You Can Do With the Free PDF Editor
- Reorder pages: Drag and drop page thumbnails to rearrange the order
- Delete pages: Remove individual pages you don't need
- Add text overlays: Click anywhere on a page and type text โ choose font size and color
- Download the edited PDF: All changes are applied and the new file downloads instantly
How to Edit a PDF Online
- Open the PDF Editor tool.
- Upload your PDF file.
- Switch between Organize Pages and Add Text modes using the tab.
- In Organize mode: drag page thumbnails to reorder, or click the delete icon to remove a page.
- In Add Text mode: click anywhere on a page to place a text box and type your annotation.
- Click "Apply & Download" to save the edited PDF.
Editing vs. Annotating: What's the Difference?
This tool adds text overlaysโ new text that sits on top of the existing page. It cannot modify text that's already in the PDF (that requires full PDF editing capability). For annotation and review purposes, this is typically all you need.
When to Crop or Rotate Instead
If your PDF has sideways pages, use the PDF Page Rotator. If you need to remove white margins or borders from scanned pages, use the PDF Cropper. For combining multiple PDFs, use the PDF Merger.
