Tools OP is built with privacy as a core principle. The short version: your files and personal data never leave your browser.
1Data Processing
All tools on Tools OP process your data exclusively in your browser. Files you upload (PDFs, images) are loaded into browser memory using the File API and processed client-side using Web APIs (Canvas, SubtleCrypto, pdf-lib). No file content is transmitted to any server at any point.
2Cookies & Local Storage
We use essential cookies to remember your preferences (dark/light mode) and to store your cookie consent choice. These cookies do not contain personal information.
If you accept optional cookies, we may use analytics cookies (anonymous page view tracking) to understand which tools are most useful. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
3Analytics
We collect anonymous, aggregated page-view and tool usage statistics to understand which tools are most useful. Our self-hosted analytics system records page paths and tool IDs — no personal information, no IP addresses stored beyond server access logs. This data cannot identify individual users and is used only to improve the service.
4Advertising
Tools OP may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to support the free operation of the site. Google AdSense uses cookies (including the __gads cookie) to serve personalized or contextual ads based on your browsing activity.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by:

5Third-Party Services
The site is hosted on a server/CDN. Standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, URL) may be retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention by the hosting provider. We do not sell or share this data.
If you use the Support page to make a payment, your payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
6GDPR & CCPA Rights
Since we do not collect personally identifiable information through our tools, there is minimal personal data to exercise rights over. However, you have the right to:
- Withdraw cookie consent at any time (clear your browser storage)
- Opt out of personalized advertising (see links in section 4)
- Request information about any data we hold (contact us)
California residents: We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without consent.
7Children's Privacy
Tools OP is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy occasionally. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
